Whirlpool 36 in. 20.9 cu. ft. Counter Depth Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Ice & Water Dispenser - Fingerprint Resistant Stainless

I do like this appliance except for the can storage which I don't understand.. Also the delivery person set the temperate at 36 and that temperature freezes eggs.

I purchased the fridge Sept 29. Very happy with everything

It s 2 weeks old and so far I really like it. I read review during the past year and it is quite and seems to be working very well. It does not have a butter keeper in top of door which I miss. It has 5 food storage keepers but not something worth having. I am using the 2 medium ones -- without the lids -- to put butter in for butter storage.

Having to replace a major appliance like a refrigerator because our existing one had failed adds a whole new urgency to the process, and it's never the greatest situation to have to make a major purchase under that kind of pressure. Fortunately we had another fridge so weren't in quite as bad a position, but still needed to get a replacement relatively quickly. After doing my initial research and selecting a model that met our needs, the Whirlpool website made purchasing fairly easy and offered much better pricing than local retailers. Delivery was relatively quick and crew were helpful in getting the old fridge out as I was a little behind on the water line disconnect. The refrigerator had no issues with door misalignment so was ready to install without any further adjustments. Being reasonably handy I elected to do the actual install myself once they had completed their in-place service. While I had no issues with the install, I did discover that the air filter package was missing and the deli drawer handle had been gouged. Getting replacement parts was a bit of a challenge and took phone calls to two different service numbers and nearly two hours to complete the process. Still waiting for parts to arrive. New fridge works great. It came down to temperature fairly quickly with Fast Cool enabled and after running the required amount of water through the lines started to make ice within about 12 hours. Fridge is quiet, and even when the ice drops is not obtrusive and much quieter than its predecessor. That was a factor in my decision as we have an open floor plan between the kitchen and family room where our entertainment center is. Absolutely love the LED lighting throughout both fridge and freezer. It really makes it easy to see everything. In-door ice and water delivery took a little getting used to but work fine and it's easy to open the ice bin to grab ice if you don't want to run the dispenser. The control panel took some getting used to and still haven't quite figured out how to change either freezer or fridge temperatures, although with the presets at zero and 37 degrees respectively that shouldn't require much adjustment. Shelf adjustment is fairly easy and we can even reuse the fridge side door inserts from our old fridge should we want to add another shelf. Overall, we're very happy with our new fridge and like the new, fingerprint resistant stainless finish. Unlike our old fridge, the front is actually metal so magnets adhere.

I love my new fridge. It's quiet, has lots of space, love the ice maker and looks so good in my new kitchen. And it's so quiet!! Can't stress the quietness enough....
