This unit is better than any I have had in the past 20+ years. It was alittle difficult to assemble in that the pictures are a bit small in the manual, but everything fit together as it should. We have used it through a 90 degree + heat wave and it has cooled our entire bottom floor, which is greater than 850 ft. The fan speeds are superior to most units. The unit looks like it was built to last and was packaged nicely.

I couldn't find ANYTHING to compete with the Frigidaire for price or performance!This one AC cools my ENTIRE 6 room apartment! And the 11.8 EER is the best!Very Happy with it!

I have had three Frigidaire wall units in the last 8 years and this one is wonderful because it cools up to 850 square feet on a 115 volt outlet. They keep making them better and better. It is also very energy efficient and quiet. I live in the high desert and have a swamp cooler which I love but it only runs on one speed and unfortunately was facing the stove which is not good. So I discussed the merits of getting another swamp cooler for the window vs the Frigidaire window unit with the retired contractor who would do the work. I finally decided on the Frigidaire due to the great past experiences. I love this unit. It works great and is quiet and isn't blowing hard at my dogs like the swamp cooler. I still think a swamp cooler is great for the high desert but needs a professional install and is less reliable than my Frigidaire. The former contractor and his assistant built a standing shelf for the outside and then used plexiglass and sealed it well but it comes with a window install for less complicated windows.

Works well replacing another Frigidaire that have out before it's time should have been up. Not all screws needed were included with the unit so luckily I had some leftover from a prior installation. Be sure to buy a top cover or your unit if you live in a building. It'll save you from a lot of headaches.

I LOVE this air conditioner! With the help of a friend, we had it installed and turned on in record time. Since this AC unit was to be installed through the wall, we had to make some modifications to the space but, with the right tools, it was not a problem. This is definitely a 2-man job due to the size and weight of the unit. I must emphasize that reading the installation instructions is the only way to install the unit. I would definitely recommend this unit to everyone.

Easy to mount the empty case first since the unit is heavy making it also easy to slide it into the case with 2 people. The unit has great settings either on the remote or on the unit we leave it in auto and set the temp . It is also very quite for a window unit and keeps us so comfortable.

Our old AC went out in the dead heat of a heatwave. It was well over 10 years old, left behind by the previous owners when we bought our house. We™™ve owned our home for over a decade. So when it died, we couldn™™t be upset. But the hunt was on for it™™s replacement. We looked everywhere, but couldn™™t find a Frigidaire until we looked at PC Richards. This AC is everything and then some of what we were looking for. We had 11,000 btu™™s, this one is 15,100. It completely cools our whole downstairs easily and quietly. I love all of the bells and whistles, including the remote, timer and temperature. My son and I installed it with ease and it was up and running in no time. We couldn™™t be more pleased with this purchase and if we ever need another AC, it will most definitely be a Frigidaire. You can™™t go wrong with the quality for money spent. I paid for a warranty and know this will outlast that time. You™™ve got a customer for life. All of my kitchen appliances are also Frigidaire so you can say, I stick to what I know when I find the best. In this time when every penny counts, I want to get my money™™s worth. I purchased this AC from PC Richards. Salesforce was well informed and attentive. This Frigidaire AC 15,100 btu™™s Unit is dualWindow and wall capable. I installed it (With a knowledgeable friend) in an existing wall opening. Looks great. Cools whole800 sq ft area. I keep it set at Econ. Low.Perfect. You can hear it but it™™s NOT aDistraction.

Works great, semi quiet, but I can see daylight on the bottom between the slide out and the frame. Shoved foam backer rod the best I could and caulked it. Not going to be easy to slide out unless I cut the caulking.

This unit replaced a 5yr old Frigidaire unit that lost some refrigerant over the winter & can't get anyone to do a recharge. The unit is a slide in & was able to use the existing mounted exterior cover.

Great A/C but the warranty on it by Frigidaire has been a GREAT challenge.A/C died. Grateful that it was covered by the warranty but the challenge has been obtaining the replacement that tomorrow is going on 2 months in the middle of the summer with no air. UGH!!!! All documentation was sent in but still no replacement.

Horrible product noisy and you wont get any sleep around this rattling noise. I purchase from PC Richards in NYC and in their receipt they clearly state they will not only not take the unit back once open but the repair has to be done by frigidaire. I explained this to the Frigidaire rep and they couldnt care less. I am stuck with this horrible box. I will never buy frigidaire ever again

Was a little noisy for a new unit. I had the same model for 13 years prior to buying this new one. It didn™™t become this noisy until around year 9. Was surprised to see a new one be as noisy as the old one was after 9 years of usage. Guess things aren™™t made like they used to be.
