Got great price during lg promotions but there is a known issue per onnlune forums with installing the filter. It needs to be twisted so hard I fear breaking the plastic adapter in the fridge.

Replaced water filter with original LG filter. Always replace filters with original manufacturers parts to ensure correct filtration of water. Other brands will not work properly.

Just bought a beautiful LG refrigerator a highly recommended unit by a consumer product review magazine. Not sure if i am allowed to use their name. Instructions called for changing filter every 6 months. I decided out of curiosity to check the cost of these filters. Oops a bit on the pricey side. After doing further research noticed that many of the generics have inferior filtration. Some of the packages available even look like OEM. My solution buy the OEM 3 pack when on promotion. I no longer worry whats really inside these filters that filter the water/ice that my family and I drink.

I received a letter from lg to purchase a water filter for my refrigerator. On several websites including LG the model of my refrigerator outlines to buy and change every 6 months. My refrigerator does not have a filter to change instead in this climate of expenses I was misinformed and spent money unnecessarily.

We bought our LG 4 door Instant View refrigerator about 4 years ago. When the water and charcoal filter needed replacement I shopped around and bought some aftermarket units. They were radically less expensive than the LG filters. The first one worked fine but the next one made using the water dispenser a tricky experience. The water shot out with so much force it would splash water all over. This was after months of use. I revisited the LG site and noticed the difference in filtering specs. The LG had better filtration and with all the chemicals that are currently found in our drinking water I opted for the LG. Firstly the taste of the water has improved and the water comes out at a civilized volume. I noticed in the specs that it also filters out prescription drugs which has become an increasingly nasty problem. Thought I was saving a buck when all I was doing was poisoning my self with cheaply made filters. Worth the extra dollars.

I bought these and had to go to YouTube to figure out why I couldnt get them in correctly. The issues is in the middle piece shifts slightly and does not then line up correctly when you put the filter back in so remove with care.

I bought a LG refrigerator 6 months ago and it was time to replace the filter. I bought a pack of 3 filters directly from LG and it was a smooth process. The directions for replacing the filter was easy to follow and the filter was much easier to replace than the filter in my old refrigerator. The filter works well to make my ice and water taste fresh.

I ordered these filters because theyre recommended by our refrigerator manufacturer. Weve always replaced our filter on schedule and our water tastes great so I think theyre doing a good job. Replacement is very easy following the instructions in our refrigerator manual.

For some reason the ones I got from Lowes didnt work like the ones from their site. I dont have any particles in the water any more. Installed drained about two gallons of water to flush it out and then was able to start drinking.

A tiny retro kitchen a mom who loves to bake and cook plus a young pastry chef. This little kitchen that is used on a daily basis does not have room to spare. One beautiful renovation later and our huge refrigerator was sticking out not looking so great taking up precious space. We bought a counter depth LG refrigerator and it changed the whole look of the kitchen. It is beautiful. Not only is the kitchen more streamlined there is so much more room for us to sit at the table and eat It is surprising what a difference a few inches can make especially when the refrigerator is right in the middle of the kitchen. The French doors are perfect for storing my pastry chefs cakes and large platters. The freezer has 2 levels and hold a lot of food This is the best refrigerator I have ever had. I LOVE it Thanks LG
