I wish i wouldnt have bought this washing machine. I wish I would have done my homework better. It takes so long to wash anything. The cycles are ridiculous and for maintenance you have to drain water and clean filter after so many loads. You have to keep the door open and dry it out supposedly. Just ridiculous.

The best washer I have ever owned. I can now use bleach and softener again. The unit is incredibly quiet and expedient. I like the ease of applying the detergent bleach and softener at the same time and same location. I cannot believe I waited so long to upgrade to a front loader. It is an ease to clean the rubber gasket and let dry after each use.

One star deducted for the drain propellor breaking after two uses. 3. One star deducted for the main control board breaking after three uses. 4. HORRIBLE support from A E Factory Service. The technician was wonderful however the service visits were rescheduled three times after I waited TEN HOURS each day.

I have wanted a front loader for years because of the small size of my laundry room. Consumer Reports always rates LG washing machines very highly. I found mine at a Fourth of July sale at Lowes so bought it and the matching dryer. I was amazed that it really got the clothes so clean with such a TINY amount of water. It truly washed everything better than my top of the line Speed Queen washing machine. I am very impressed. This LG is not their top of the line and has no steam capability nor WiFi connectivity. I doubt Id use those anyway. Very satisfied.

I have used the LG 5.0 white washer for 6 weeks then one day it would not turn on-- trouble shooted what I could. Went to LGs website did an online chat with a rep -- this was on a Sunday by the way... after determining not an outlet issue repair was scheduled for 3 days later on a Wednesday. The potential repair parts were UPS shipped to my house and arrived on Monday The repair rep called me when en route as requested was professional and repaired my washer with the parts that had been shipped. While I do NOT want an appliance to quit working after 6 weeks of use the repair process was swift and smooth. LG backs its products from my experience. The washer cleans the clothes and removes water from them with less time in the dryer. I also purchased a pedestal and love the capacity of the drum and can get the clothes out without breaking my back. Got this unit on sale at major holiday-great price. *** NOTE to future buyers of front loaders-- KEEP the shipping bolts that are removed from the drum by the delivery people. You will need them in the future if you ever move your washer

My LG 5.0 cu ft washer is the best ever I have had several washers thru the years and this one is my favorite without any doubt. It is simple to use and very quiet. The large tub has been awesome. A big quilt fits in great. Having the 5.0 cu ft tub cuts down on the number of loads of laundry per week because I can get so much more in it. That ends up saving money on electric and laundry products. I would definitely recommend this machine and even if you dont buy this model you should go for the larger tub.. I am very happy with my LG washer.

I bought this 3 weeks ago to replace my 17-year-old LG Tromm. I loved my LG Tromm so much it was such a workhorse and it lasted forever - I never had a service call on it in the 17 years that I owned it Knowing that I knew I had to get another LG machine. I decided to go slightly bigger in capacity so I can do bigger loads. I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. The speedwash function takes only 15 minutes from start to finish - great for those items that dont need such a lengthy wash and the machine is so incredibly quiet - I didnt even know it was on I have not been paid for this review and I have not received the washing machine free for a review.

A washer that works

We previously had an LG washer that was the worlds worst washer. We had to plan hours to wash a load of clothes because it constantly went uneven no matter what was in there. LG came out to replace something they knew was wrong with the machine sometime in the 1st couple of years after we bought the washer and said to call if it still didnt work. The problems continued. I called several times to report the continuation of the uneven issues and was told by a nasty customer service rep too bad the warranty was up. When it finally went started leaking we were so glad to have buy another washer. We really should have done this sooner because it wasted a ton of electricity and water as well as our time. I never thought Id buy another LG anything but when I went shopping I looked for the cheapest front load washer I could get which happened to be LG and added a warranty plan. We finally have a washer that works. It is basic and nothing special but we can finally wash clothes in a normal amount of time and the savings in electricity is noticeable.

good product but there is a scratch on the dryer door with the paint job. over all the product was good but delivery was also a little rough and there was a lot we needed to do to get the product together

Terrible experience

Bought this washer about a week ago and it has not operated correctly ever. Numerous error codes. Getting LG to send tech has been VERY FRUSTRATING. Terrible customer service. Have now talked to other appliance dealers who recommend not buying LG appliances. LG trying to find repair shop that will accept the repair. Supposedly they found one after another refused. Cannot find part numbers for this washer model number.

I love LG washers This one is great and does a great job. My only regret is that I didnt pay attention that it has not the Sanitary option like my old one. It was my fault to not pay attention to this important detail but still a great product.

Good machine except for a couple of things

The dryer doesnt have a light when you open the door. Also the pedestals arent high enough to hold large bottles of laundry soap. Softener or bleach. Also there is no top that goes across both machine so you can fold clothes on.

Washer works great to clean cloths

Bought a house and needed to purchase a washer/dryer specifically a stacked set to fit in the space built for it. After some research landed on this set because of reviews size to fit into space and sale price. Works well so far when cleaning clothes. Quiet and doesnt shake Has a nice little trill that will notify you the cycle is done. We use detergent sheets and have had no issue with those working well in this washer. Ive washed several loads of clothes towels sheets comforters and all have washed well.

When my 18 yr old washing machine broke I was devastated. Until I realized what I was missing out on This washer is great. I love the features including the pre-sets but mostly love how much more I can fit in 1 load Not to mention its SO quiet Its been just about 2 months and I couldnt be happier with this.

My old LG washer and dryer served us well for 14 years. So when it was time to replace them we went with this washer and a companion dryer. It is an excellent performer very well balanced and quiet. User interface is simple and logical. Energy efficiency was a big selling point for us.

The owners manual that came with the washer is junk. Trying to get a good downloadable one online was complicated and impossible. Then trying to register was complex as I wasnt allowed to get my model right. I still dont know if it is listed right.
