Very Nice Looking, but breaks after 2 years

we loved this refrigerator at first. however, right after 2 years the ice maker stopped working, and now it's not usable. it's past the warranty but i expected more out of this high priced product. the smarthub is cool but that doesn't mean anything if the refrigerator does not work as expected.

i debated on going directly through samsung for the purchase of our fridge however thought, what could go wrong? the fridge was delivered with the box tore to shreds, you can see my fridge through the box. i took an entire day off of work to wait for the fridge to be delivered and installed. they dropped it off, said they don't install it and left. i have four kids and no fridge. contacting customer service for two days straight with a "let me transfer you maam" and a, "i'm sorry maam, someone will call you back" doesn't work for me. i now am spose to take another day off work for them to install yet there is still no date in sight for an install.

We purchased this fridge a couple of months ago and are very happy with it. Tho it's counter depth, it feels bigger. The digital features are easy to use and has a great picture. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple of somewhat frustrating issues. First, we love the slideshow style screensaver, but wish there was a "night time" setting so the screen would go black overnight (midnight to 6a?) and run as normal during the day. I feel like we waste a lot of energy because it runs continuously all night and the light is very bright. I contacted Samsung for a fix, but there doesn't seem to be one. Second, the feature allowing a peek in the fridge via the app or menu on the screen isn't as helpful as we expected. The items available to view are only the items in the front row of the fridge. Difficult to see items behind other items and no view of the freezer or middle shelf. That said, we're happy with our purchase and would purchase again.

OS is too slow and Bixby doesn't work

Really nice color, the problem is that is just a very thin layer of stain over what it seems to be a regular stainless steel refrigerator, so it gets easily scratched and losses it's original color if, let's say, the door has some friction with neighboring cabinets. In the counter-depth version there is plenty of room both for fridge and freezer. However, I have to say that the ice maker is kind of slow in replenishing the used ice cubes. Also, regarding the software, I am really disappointed. There has been 2 updates since we bought the refrigerator and I haven't been able to use Bixby yet. It get's stuck in the first page to set it up, where it says "next" and the screen doesn't respond anymore. I tried a hard reset of the system and it didn't solve it. When it comes to identification of food, the system is still imperfect. The identification of food with the cameras inside needs to be improved a lot.

I've had this for almost a year now and no problems to speak of. The Family Hub is a joy to use and is so helpful in everyday life. This refrigerator will make any kitchen look up-to-date and just awesome. My only issue is the counter depth is a bit small for me but I guess that's the price you pay for that counter depth look.

We have had the 22 cu. ft. 4-door French Door. Counter Depth Refrigerator4 months It is black finger resistant stainless.  I found with our old refrigerator when the sun shined it would show every finger print and speck of dust.  This appliance does not, it is a beautiful appliance! The shelves are  easy to adjust to fit my family's needs. The adjustable  shelves from standard to slide in or flip -up to store the taller items.  The flex drawer with four different temperature settings; Wine,Deli, Beverage and Meat is such a great addition to a refrigerator.  I can change the temperature quickly from the Family Hub app( Which was easy to install on my smartphone) or from the family hub right on the refrigerator itself.   The light inside that comes on when doors are opened is very bright.  The freezer has one smaller drawer and one deep drawer with a divider that can be removed.  The freezer is smaller then our other refrigerator, but that is not an issue for my family since we have another freezer in the basement.  My family and I have been quickly getting used to using the family hub.  Adding items to my shopping list is so easy! Any member of my family can tell Bixby what to add to the shopping list and it is put right on my shopping list and I can quickly bring it up on the Family Hub app.  I will never forget my shopping again! While shopping I can even see inside the refrigerator.   The speaker has a nice sound to it and we find ourselves listening to music more often.  The water and ice dispenser has a tall opening so we are able to fill our sport bottles.  The filter water that comes out is already cold.

My husband really wanted a freezer on the bottom refrigerator. I was very hesitant. This refrigerator is three cubic feet smaller than the side by side we were replacing. I am a bit of a food hoarder, so this worried me. I had no reason to worry! The design of this refrigerator makes every cubic foot count. The ice maker unit is in the roomy upper refrigerator section, rather than taking up space in the freezer. This makes the freezer very usable and roomy! I wanted the fancy streaming/digital features and have not been disappointed. It's great to have pictures, reminders, recipes, music, etc. all in one place with no magnets! I highly recommend this refrigerator! You won't be disappointed!

I'm happy with my fridge. It is smaller inside then our older fridge but with counter depth, you will always lose space. The screen is neat and you can do a lot of things. The grocery list view is probably my favorite. The camera view is not really helpful. We are also challenged with space because we have a lot of tall bottles (condiments) so that gets challenging. I feel like I'm playing Tetris every time I come back from the grocery. But overall I'm still happy with the fridge!

My New Refrigerator

I bought this refrigerator two months ago and so happy I did. Love all of the features and its innovative design. Deceptively large for being a counter depth model. Fits and works well within the design of my kitchen. When it comes to purchasing new appliances and electronics I always look at Samsung first!

Awesome Refrigerator!

I bought this about a month ago through Costco, shipping and delivery took longer than expected, but it was worth the wait. Looks great in our kitchen. The Family Hub is fun to place messages and pictures, get recipes, listen to music and connect to our Ring video doorbell.

Enjoying this so much, better than I imagined. Would be nice if Samsung was more responsive with help request, tech chat is a waiting game, never got connected. Seen a lot of people having this problem, they are getting a reputation that may have consequences.

I love the screen and color of the fridge

I really don't use all the features yet. But love being able to play videos and music on it while cooking. I can say that this one is really small. I wish I had gotten the bigger size. We miscalculated our space and thought we had to get this smaller size. Really we could have gone up the next size.

We bought this five months ago and so far it's been great. The screen on the front of the fridge is very entertaining. I find the lower glass shelf is very complicated to take off for cleaning, which I am not so happy with.

Cannot Store anything Inside!

Very disappointed in my refrigerator! Cannot store a gallon of milk in side as the bins are too small. The bins in the left side if the door are so narrow I cannot store anything in them. The space inside is limited as A container of Lemonade will not fit. I am not sure what to do with my groceries as the shelving is inadequate and the space is very limited. Not even sure what to store in the "flex space" as it has this weird grid thing that takes up space. Not too mention it was delivered with a scratch on the door and I was told to contact Samsung. A month later they show up, call tech support and them tell me they will not be replacing it. $3800 refrigerator that was damaged, Bixby is stupid and groceries do not fit. Never will recommend this refrigerator to anyone!

This smart hub is amazing

I brought this fridge because using my smart phone for recipes was a pain. I would have several accidents trying to hold my phone and cook this has fridge has been a tremendous help. No hands involved now thanks Samsung. This fridge is a little smaller than I imagined in the inside but the tri-zone cooling is amazing also.

Lots of modern features

We have used many of the features of this product. The list feature is the best allows everyone to contribute to the list. Only drawback is the camera doesn't display all items like those in middle drawer or freezer. Great product! I hop Samsung keeps updating the features with software updates.

Just got the fridge a few weeks ago and I'm still learning how to use all the features, but I love it! At first some of the space felt very limited, but then I adjusted a few things and now it looks great and fits everything we love to eat. It has a little recipe app to give different ideas which is nice because then things get pretty repetitive. I leave chore lists in there for my girls to look at and complete.

We bought this fridge to replace an older one when we did our kitchen remodel. My husband and son saw the model in store and could not stop talking about the screen feature so that's what we ended up getting. It really is cool and convenient to be able to have music, pictures, and recipes right on your refrigerator screen. I also love the bonus drawer where we store juice boxes, waters, and snacks for my son to have access to. I like that the fridge will alert you if you leave the door open, but feel like that's needed because it's not easy to just close the door behind you. It doesn't swing shut, you must push it closed, which my son (and myself) don't always do. I'm a little worried about the black stainless holding up over time, but it really is beautiful!

Love my Refrigerator

Finally replaced my 20 year old refrigerator and retired it to the garage. This Samsung beauty was an excellent choice. I love the Family Hub as I am still learning all it does, I love the photo gallery feature and Bixby. Having super cold drinks in the "beverage drawer" is amazing. I was hesitant on the black stainless, but now I am in love with it. Fingerprints from my grandson are just not there! The counter depth provides us with some additional space as well. All in all it was an excellent choice.

We bought it a month or so ago so we've had time to put it to use. Just a few things I didn't pay attention to since it's counter depth the ability to put a couple jugs of Milk, juice is challenging and it does not have a holder for eggs so you just leave them in the carton. Icemaker is been used a lot due to summer and it's a little slower to make ice but not a dealbreaker
